I held a North Carolina teaching license in secondary education for seven years. I specialize in English 9-12, AP English, high school and college essays, newspaper and magazine articles, and the occasional dissertation. In June of 2020, I released Three Miles of Eden.

I conduct live tutoring for high school students via Zoom. Each tutoring session is limited to one hour per student. Students and parents should ensure I have digital copies of their syllabus and assignment(s) for discussion. I can address language arts issues, literary interpretation, literary devices, composition editing, and public speaking.

College Applications: I assist students with their application essays, ensuring a unique presentation that gets an admission committee's attention.

Adult/Professional compositions and college term papers: I assess and edit presentations, speeches, professional articles, and inter-office communications and announcements.

I edit written work in the latest edition of Microsoft Word. I track changes, and those changes must be accepted by the original author to become permanent alterations to the document. If necessary, I do a follow-up consultation to explain the adjustments.
