Sean Patrick Smith lives in Hamlet, North Carolina with his daughter, Reilly, and three cats: Kissie, Anakin, and Tom.

 

He is a former newspaper and magazine writer, and an English teacher. He has coordinated the services of the developmentally disabled for over a decade in Greensboro.

 

Sean and his daughter frequent Ocean Isle, NC to spend time with Reilly's grandmother.

 

Three Miles of Eden is his first novel.
